DRAFT
TEST IN NANAIMO, B.C. APRIL 24, 2004.
Another
successful draft test was held in Nanaimo, beautiful weather, some great
working dogs.
Our judges were
Bonnie Fergusson, Angela
James, and David Denis.
Bernadette van
Klaveren came up with two more DDX titles, with Paschen and Chute,
bringing to five at their house now, some kind of a record I am sure. Bev
Mattson with Maggie and Lisbeth Plant with Whitey (who are litter mates)
earned DD’s. Heartiest congratulations to those wonderful Bernese and
their handlers.
As well as the
Bernese, we had a Newfoundland, a Vizsla, a Boxer, a Flat Coat, a
Rottweiler and a Leonberger earning DD’s.
My grateful thanks
to Dave and Bernadette van Klaveren for all their help. Their daughter
Linda (who kept the kitchen running), Jill Weir for the wonderful soup
and our head ring steward, Dennis McVeety, who must have walked miles.
Elizabeth Hay (a Swissy owner) for the lovely collars.
