Eve Menegoz
Eve moved to Montreal, Canada from her native
Switzerland in 1967. She acquired her first Bernese in 1973, Ch Jakob v.
Huebelihof.
Since then she has been involve in
Conformation/Obedience/Tracking.
She has bred litters under the kennel name of "Sennenhof" and it has become
her passion.
Eve was instrumental in getting the breed recognized in Canada and she was
also present
when the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Canada was first established in
1979.
She has accomplished a few first for the breed in Canada with her dogs:
First Bernese to earn CKC Utility Dog & OTCh titles - OTCh Tanja V
Gruenenmatt “Ursli”
First Bernese to earn a Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) in Canada - Ch Yuna V
Grünenmatt, CD, TDX “Sugus”
First Female Bernese to win BOB at BMDCC National Specialty - BISS Ch Gitana
de Braye “Tina”
Eve has shown at specialities in Holland, Switzerland, USA and Canada and
received some memorable wins.
She has been invited to judge Sweepstakes at 3 USA National and 2 USA
Regional Specialities, plus 3 all breed
Sweepstakes in Canada. She judged Puppy and Veteran Sweeps at the
Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Ontario 2002 Specialty.
Eve is looking forward to her assignment with at BMDCC Sieger Show in 2009.
