Mary Alice Eschweiler (USA) Shepherds Patch Kennel

Mary Alice bought her first BMD in 1959. She has trained and shown many BMD’s to multiple titles, including the first AKC Champion UDT. Under the kennel name Shepherd's Patch, she has bred 8 litters.

Ms. Eschweiler was a member of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America (BMDCA) Standard Committee in 1980 and 1990. She has judged Sweepstakes and Futurity at the BMDCA Specialties, and is also a BMDCA draft test judge. She is approved by AKC to judge BMDs and Junior Showmanship. In 2001,

Mary Alice was honored to judge the regular classes at the BMDCA National Specialty.

She currently serves on the BMDCA Judge's Education Committee.

In her lifetime, Mary Alice has owned 24 Bernese Mountain Dogs.
