Trois-Rivières

The city is located at the crossroads of highways 40 (east-west) and 55 (north-south) and is halfway between Montreal and Quebec City.
"Old Trois-Rivieres" is a site of cultural, heritage and tourist interest that is sprinkled with historic monuments and buildings. 
The city center has picturesque charm, specialized boutiques, cozy cafés, and excellent restaurants. 
Founded on 4 July 1634, the City of Trois-Rivières will be celebrating its 375th anniversary in 2009.

Trois-Rivières is situated on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, at the mouth of the Saint-Maurice.
